Possible alternatives to the God hypothesis Possible alternatives to the God hypothesis

IMO, since we now know evolution is true, there are many more possible new hypotheses than the standard old God hypothesis. All of the following are possible and, IMO, more likely than the regular God hypothesis.

1. God created a pool of single celled organisms and thought the DNA replication process would be 100% accurate. He had no idea evolution would occur and wanted to just watch bacteria-like organisms on Earth for fun.

2. Comet carrying life from other planet has single celled life, which sparks life on Earth sometime between 4.6 to 3.8 billion years ago.

3. Intelligent alien lands on earth 4.6 to 3.8 billion years ago and unintentionally deposits a single celled organism on Earth.

4. Intelligent alien lands on earth 4.6 to 3.8 billion years ago and intentionally deposits a single celled organism on Earth.

5. God made the first single celled organism and "guided" evolution to produce the lamprey. The lamprey is the animal God loves most, and only the lamprey have souls. No other organism has a soul, and there is an afterlife that is only populated by lampreys swimming around in a nice predator-free ocean with plenty of food. After the lamprey, God didn't care what evolved afterward since his final product was complete.

6. Dinosaurs were God's goal/end product of evolution. Unfortunately for him, an asteroid hit Earth a few million years ago and killed off his dinosaurs. Since the asteroid and the Mesozoic era, God has been trying desperately to wipe out the stupid monkeys and humans so that reptiles can evolve again. This hypothesis explains viruses and natural disasters harming humans very well.

7. God is a sadist and created the Earth to watch humans suffer. He knew humans would eventually become over populated and there would be famine/disease/war. He choose evolution because he liked watching predators and parasites attack their prey while doing natural selection for him.

8. We humans are not God's goal creature, but we are leading up to them. Similarly to how theists today don't believe monkeys have souls, well, in the future we will be an ancestor to later humans, just like how today monkeys are an ancestor of us. Btw, I know technically we didn't evolve from a monkey, we have a common ancestor with monkeys, but our common ancestor probably looked similar to a modern day monkey. God is waiting for us humans to evolve into a better primate, one who is more moral and is more healthy, before breathing in a soul. We don't have souls yet because we are just a necessary part of the path to God's "goal organism".
Anymore?

How are these alternatives to the God hypothesis?

5 of 8 of these so called 'alternatives' assume the existence of a God....

If you want something truly alternative, look at the theory behind the holographic principle, string theory, M-Theory, and the multiverse hypothesis... A lot of these at the very least - are mathematically sound, and logically consistent.

How is the likelyhood quantified, since these according to you (OP) are "more" likely?

also, @ VeeDDzz, I'd be shocked if multiverse theory were ever disproven...I feel like this is the strongest language I can realistically employ if I want to say that I think we do in fact occupy a multiverse...due to the oh-so-obvious restrictions on empirical observation that can be derived regarding this topic, heh
