Personally, I think that those who claim qualification in spiritual matters are full of it. They typically deal that which is unknowable and at best, I think they are delluded. Just consider how you feel about religious leaders who aren't Christians... they're misguided, but probably have their heart in the right place, right? That's how I feel about religious leaders,
including Christians. It doesn't matter how long and intensely they've studied, if they've been barking up the wrong tree the whole time. At worse, however, they are manipulating vulnerable people for their own gain. These are the kind that are just making it up as they go along, and know exactly what they're doing.
So if I ever needed spiritual guidance, I wouldn't seek it from someone who claims some sort of spiritual authority.
