For me, it's almost like the boy who cried wolf. One religion after another has popped up throughout history, and we still have religions being created today. Most of them claim to be "right." It's hard to take anyone seriously.

For all the western world's faults I think that "the starving Africans" would want to strive to be able to live in a place where they are a) not starving and b) free to make sarcastic comments on an internet forum criticising the way of living which has created one of the most prosperous eras of human history.
