The existing Mods for RGT are worthless as Mods for RGT or Mods are not necessary for RGT; or I am wrong.

Examples?

Religious discussions cover such a wide range and can legitimately stray in so many directions before coming back to a point, that I think you have to give people a much wider birth here than in other forums. In general, I think the mods do a good job here.

Although, it might not be bad idea to add a theist mod to the staff. I can appreciate that there might be an apparent bias towards the atheist side of argument. I also think that a few posts get started that come off as rude or seem to have more a purpose of being provocative, rather than to stimulate meaningful discussion. Then again, there have been some pretty iffy theist OPs as well.

I think Madnak does a pretty good job in general. Is there another mod for this forum? I do not think that his influence is unfair to theists.

Also, you did mean "berth", right?

Meh, I pretty much quit posting (in SMP or RGT) when SMP begat RGT .

Madnak is the main mod for this forum and runs it as he sees fit, and he has on occasion locked threads, do a search if you want. I consider myself in a secondary role as mod here, focusing my duties mainly on SMP. If you have a complaint please PM Madnak. There is no real reason for this thread, but for now I'll let madnak decide if it should be locked, unless of course it gets out of hand.

I think that Madnak does a pretty good job and over all is very fair. There are times where I feel an obvious troll thread should be locked sooner, but you get a lot of those types of threads around here, just kinda nature of the beast I guess.

Also, I was very confused when RLK piped in as I thought that was the OP. Anyone else make this mistake?

RJT, I suggest you hang around a little more. RGT goes in cycles really, it will be **** for a month, then have a bunch of good threads and discussions for a month.

I too think Madnak does a reasonably good job. Though I do think sometimes the insults flow a little too freely and that some trollish type threads should just be locked and perhaps a few more cautions thrown in.
