I've lived in 4 different states in the US and Germany and I've never met a single devil worshipper. Where do you live that is so rich in devil worshippers? And how do you know? Did they just admit it?

i know it is obv that this thread is a joke but why is it so easy to determine that it is?

just about in any religion i can think of some god tells different people to do different things. and the followers of that religion think it makes absolute sense when they read it in their bibles or scriptures or whatever they have it written in. but if anyone in present day dare mention anything similar immediately they become cults and obv frauds.

what about the joan of arcs? the catholic church makes her a saint....does that mean they believe her? what gives?

I think this is the most interesting part of the thread. Though something that's definitely been touched on plenty of times.

If someone says that some guy in india is performing miracles and has 200K followers, most everybody including the Christians will dismiss it without extraordinary evidence.

But, tell a Christian that Jesus walked on water or Moses parted the Red Sea or Noah fit thousands of animals in a boat he built with his family and fed them for months on the sea (of course wiping out the entire population of the earth)... they accept it wholeheartedly.

If God talks to people 2000 years ago Christians believe it.
If anyone makes similar claims today, they don't.

I find it interesting but don't know that a thread devoted to it goes anywhere because, I would predict, a lack of objectivity from believers. (with the exception, of course, from Bunny)

It's too bad your god doesn't make himself available for direct communication with everybody. I think that would save a lot of lives
