With the current issues with online poker in the us (and me having a large chunk of my roll online) i have decided to seek a stake for 2/5-5/10 nl live games and/or live mtt's with buyin > $300.

I am a long time winner online and also have good results playing live. I recently moved to Vegas after Washington state online poker issues.

I have a staking question? Say s family member wants to give me a 1000$ stake for live cash. What would be a fair amount to pay them back? 1250$ or 1500$. Would I give them any profit over 1000$? Or split profits? Sorry newb questions.

you agree on a percentage that is fair for the profits.

$1,000 always belongs to them

Split the profits = 50.50 60.40 or 40.60. Something like that is standard.
