Long Time Student and Community Member Looking for Mid-Stakes MTT Backer

Hi,
There's a chance some of you know me as I've been in the poker community for awhile; both as a player and more recently as a writer.
I was a reporter at this years WSOP for Bluff Magazine, and have written some articles for pokertips.org. I'm also a Moderator over at Cardrunners.com with close to 5,000 posts on the site. Needless to say, I'll be able to provide character references if needed.
I graduated from York University in April of this year with my Bachelor of Social Science degree. I spent most of those years also studying poker, and playing whenever I could, both online, and live around North America (I'm from Toronto). That includes living in Vegas for the past five summers in order to grind cash games and take the occasional shot at live tournaments.

In regard to MTTs, I didn't have the time to put in the kind of volume that my peers were during my years at school. But now that I've graduated I've got some time to take a shot at actually pursuing my dream of becoming a full-time professional player. Basically, if I don't get this stake I will be forced to work for the man full-time and just grind on Sundays.
Again, I haven't put in the volume that many of you have in regard to online MTTS, but I can assure you I'm a hard worker, and willing to put in the time and effort to excel my game.
Note: I haven't deposited on Fulltilt in years, all of my Fulltilt results are shown despite not being opted-in (the mandatory opt-in was put into effect after I stopped playing on the site), I never played on the site after 2011. My site of choice has been Stars since then, but I understand that if I'm backed I will probably play on a variety of sites, including Fulltilt. Which is fine.
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to review my short poker resume, and considering me. I kind of feel like I'm throwing a hail mary before I'm forced to join the real world.
