I am a member of both stoxpoker and CR and to be honest I think stox is better for a 50nl player.

had a stox membership for a month and now have a sub for cardrunners, personally i would say the quality and quantity at cardrunners is far superior.

If you sign up for a year you miss out the sign up fee

CR has a very diverse set of pros. I think a basic search of this forum will give you most of the information you need to help in your purchase decision, so I don't want to beat a dead horse.

Just a few highlights:

1.) Deepest group of instructors
2.) Great forum and community aspect among members and pros that offer great feedback and comments from pros and very capable members.
3.) Largest archive of videos

That's basically it in a nutshell.

Good luck and hope this information helps.

Get both!

I honestly like both sites but for the lower stakes i would say stox would be more suitable but as mentioned they are both great.

Forums on CR suck, but videos have good content. If you only get one, my recommendation would be Stox. I currently have both.

i love the forums on CR fwiw, it depends what games you play. small and medium stakes forums are typically very active. OT is very very good as well.

I dont know exactly what you are looking for in a training site forum then. 2p2 is always going to have the most traffic in all topics, but CR's forums are more active with more posters than stox + DC combined (my only other experience)

There is no catch. Don't ask too many questions otherwise we might be forced to re-examine our heads and shut it down.

FTP is the sponsor of this promotion, maybe that sheds some light on it.

Some forums are very good, some are lousy. The MTT forum is extremely weak. However, on the PLO forum you can get responses from Stinger and Townsend.

What kind of videos do both offer for 6max uNL. Are they all the series type with multiple episodes? Are they all of a single pro playing their game and talking about it? What about theory only videos or situation specific like how to play in 3bet pots etc etc? Please provide a breakdown of which videos are offered and what percentage of each? Also how many of each type can be expected each month?

For both CR and Stox, 6-max NL is the biggest category of new videos each month and the biggest category in the existing libraries.

There are both single-coach commentary and dual coach commentary 6-max videos.

Even as a guest, you can view the video pages on both CR and Stox and filter/review the library.

On Stox specifically, you can also search for videos that include 3-bettting as a key topic.

Hope this helps.

Jim
