Tbh I could do without the dials, it does make things a little too busy. Just give me a nice traditional style with moon phase but no date stuff at all. I never know what the date is anyway and I don't seem to be missing out. Obviously it's hard to function in society without knowing the moon phase

the subdial on the left with the gold hand is a running seconds. the 5-30 subdial on the right is minutes for the chronograph. the center seconds in blue is for the chronograph as well. so you can time intervals of up to 30 minutes with this stopwatch complication. a perpetual calendar chronograph is considered a grand complication and is pretty much (along with tourbillions) the height of high horology

if i were a woman i would absolutely have a moonphase on my watch to track my period. but as it is the moon doesn't really effect my life. it's a neat complication and it's an interesting nod to the history of timepieces, like the moon was man's first calendar and this is how far we've come

Oh that's really nice. Is it rare? I see lots of their moon watches in the 10 to 15K range and tourbillons for 70-120k but don't see any like that with both.

Longines very respectable. For a clean moon phase and time I'd go jlc master ultra thin. I saw one irl recently and I was stunned at its thinness

Seems like the problem with buying one watch is it'll lead to buying more watches, which I'd need to keep in a watch cabinet in a walk-in closet, and then I'd have to buy a bunch of shoes and suits to fill the closet
