Then think of NYC vs say N Italy or Detroit and compare on a per capita basis and NYC isn't even the "hottest" hot-spot. My point is you can take basically anything fuluck says with a huge grain of salt.
Or ya know compare NYC to a place like Alaska or Maine.

Alaska has 20 cases per 100k. South Korea is much denser than New York and has 16 cases per 100k. Keep on ****in' that chicken.

South Korea has been handling their business though

All the Caribbean islands seem to be doing alright

interesting

****ing ****

So ... it's not density but .... other factors? fuluck probably doesn't even realize he's agreeing with me.

This might be too much math but try to follow me here ... Cases per 100k (C) is a function of Density (D), handling their business (H) and everything else including measurement error (e)

C = aD + bH + e

What I'm saying is that a = 0.

so you think it's just as safe to be in NYC as it is in Alaska or Delaware

what if mass panic breaks out and/or authoritarian rule starts? Would you rather be in a city or the country?
04-02-2020 , 10:40 PM
when the **** hits the fan the cities are not the places to be
04-02-2020 , 10:42 PM
I'd rather be in a rich city with good hospitals. Rural community hospitals have been absolutely demolished since (and before) the ACA.
04-02-2020 , 10:43 PM
fuluck just admit it. You're the kind of person who looks at a giant red map of the 2016 election and thinks Donald Trump is making a convincing point about how badly he beat Clinton even though he lost by 3M actual votes. It's ok. There are a lot of people who think the same thing.
04-02-2020 , 10:44 PM
every state will collapse together
04-02-2020 , 10:45 PM
As someone who grew up legitimately rural with the nearest neighbor a half mile away I'd be shocked if fuluck didn't grow up in some shitty suburb.

But you assume people can just upend their lives and move their families out of the city. Like it’s easy. Sure. Let’s pack it all up and move. Money is no object. Give me a break. Everything you would need is at a stand still atm.

I myself am in a suburb of a large city. Everything I need is well within reach yet my family and I can stay well out of reach as long as we choose. I’d rather be here than where my mom is, middle of nowhere, quite a drive to reach civilization when things get worse.

lol a rich city. All the cities have homeless epidemics. And all the city hospitals are overburdened.

04-03-2020 , 01:55 AM
and ****ing relax aiott, I'm merely pointing out that it's better to bug out in the country than in a city, but you're getting all butt hurt about it.
04-03-2020 , 01:56 AM
And then I moved to the burbs! Cause **** being out in the sticks amirite.
04-03-2020 , 02:11 AM

04-03-2020 , 03:14 AM
