So, the nurse came by today and we talked and she assumes that my mothers unbearable, excruciating pain is from metastasis of her lung cancer to her bones

Y'know, I used to know a really good lung cancer metastasizing to bones joke, but I forgot it.

Sad, too, cuz that joke really kills!

I'm kind of pissed off (okay, really pissed off) because she's been complaining of her "pulling her groin" which, apparently, is a classic symptom of people who have bone mets; they feel like they have a pulled muscle. So, she's been feeling this way since December. She's also had Hospice home care since December and she's been in pain. It takes her coming up here to get her pain meds properly upped to hopefully control the pain. Because, reading about it, it seems like it's terribly painful.
