Barca is club that has shown so many football legends to the world, like no one else.
Plus, they were not the team of Franco the fascist! : ) They donate the sponsorship, they do more for third world kids to get to play football than any ten other clubs...like that. Lots of reasons to love that club. After all, Es Mes Que un Club!!

yes, but since Messi is playing like a god I don't think clubs will have money to buy his contract. And I think he would do much better in Italian premiership than in Premiere league.

liverpool would do well to buy him.. please to be making it happen.. god torres and messi up front

that makes me so hard thinking about that
Well Barca gave him medicine when he was a kid and he would have only been 4'11 if they had not. They signed him when he was 10 BECAUSE his family could not afford the $1,500 a month that the medicine cost. He will NEVER leave imo. That is just the most heart-warming story ever imo

Man City said they would just open the doors to the Bank and he could take what he wanted and he laughed! Srsly like $300M+ So, if that won't do it, I bet nothing will.

I was born in Kentucky, but am a citizen of the World now. I am a real live redneck that can skin a deer and run a trott line for fish, and yet am conscious of my place in the scheme of things. I am also actually Buddhist. No kidding.

I think it was even less, like $500 a month... He has everything in Barca atm and yet his prime playing years are about to come...

Kev, IYO how come that video game thread is still alive?
04-08-2010 , 04:55 AM
How Messi single-handedly went through four defenders and the NUTMEGS the Goalie, I am pretty sure I will never understand and I watched it several times frame by frame.

He is sick.

It may well have been less money, but the EV for the club was not much. And, that amount may as well have been millions to Messi's family in Argentina, so they say.
