You can not help someone unless they want help the problem is that a lot of people go to find help and end up with someone who they can not relate with at all. People make choices but once addiction takes over not many people have an amazing self control now do they?

I may have choice to try speed as a 16 yr old thinking i was cool but by the time i was 19/20 i had gotten in so deep that it was very hard to get out. Now of more work was spent around that 15/16yr old mark like the current labour govenment is wanting then i hope we can have some sort of improvement.

Dont you think i always wanted to give up coke and speed? I just could not find the willl power to get over my addiction until the thought of living my life with out knowing my child came in to my head. Not every addict gets this wake up moment, and its even more rare to get it at the young age of 21. Im lucky in a way that i wasnt 28 yrs old trying to beat off the addiction i am still young enough to improve my life surroundings and those of the people around me.

But many in society would just give up on people like me, said we wore to hard to fix and so on but every person deserves to be able to improve ones self imo. Sorting out the problem before it becomes an addiction helps massively.

/end rant

I know you've had this in your clipboard since the minute you saw it, just waiting for the opportunity. Good timing. Well played.

i was a huge brent fan also. never saw pig pen.

but in reality it seemed like they didn't really have a 'leader'. they shared the spotlight as a group.

I never saw Jerry or Pig unfort since my dead head days started in 99/96 and my real love for all of the years came around 2k when i was able to access all shows online (since I didn't roll dat)
I always figured pig was the leader, then jerry. In my mind he was never really replaced just substituted.

your thoughts also on Dona Jean

I saw Donna Jean because my first show was Providence 1978. She was a great studio back up singer but her voice wasn't strong enough to project during the live shows. Basically she sucked and everyone was thrilled when brent joined the band.
