I'll be going to the entrance station (MEPS) for tests/physical/job placement as soon as I get paperwork together, get my speeding ticket formally thrown out (even though it's already been effectively thrown out), and lose a few more LBs. I'd like to go by the end of the month. From there I wait an indeterminate amount of time, and then when they need me I go to basic training for 8 weeks and then to some Air Force base somewhere.

you could even end up on the AF base on Oahu

it's really nice.
