Listen, I'm all for being tough. I don't even own a coat! I don't really feel the cold that badly, but when you're sitting doing nothing the cold can take hold, and when you're at home you should be comfortable. That means heating on in winter.

The funny thing is, he has his water temperature set to like a million degrees, it's literally too hot to touch when you turn the tap, so he clearly doesn't have an issue with wasting gas.
