No fewer than 4 people asked me if I'd lost weight this weekend. Smashed some Culver's on the way home. **** I might eat some more tonight.

Your lyft customers really comment on your weight loss?

Also, new term of the day is "slump buster". Coined by a early 30's balding hipster, who showed me a picture of a 5' 5" 180 lb blonde with crimped hair and a cigarette from tinder.... he didn't follow through

Mmmmm. Dumping the nut holster in the slump buster.

But that's all she expected, besides a free dinner or two.

Also, sidewalk chalk party was a HUGE success.

And I got to hug on babbies. And they helped me plant out some Basil.

Wtg, your raised their expectations of what life can be. Setting them up early for a life of disappointment and depression.

NAhhh, I have a gardening date with Lily and the oldest girl tomorrow. We're going to a community garden nearby to talk about vegetables.

Apparently this is VERY srs biz.

Beautiful.
Poppies? Did they self sow this year?
05-31-2017 , 06:51 PM
Well, they're fighting again...but no crying babies. Maybe they're worn out and asleep?

One time dealer.

I planted them in the fall. And I think maybe poppies are the bright ones, there's some darker purple ones and some small orange ones too that don't show up. I'm hoping this is just the spring blooming ones and there'll be another round in the summer. They were some wild flower mixes that we threw on the hill side too far away from the house to bother putting grass seed.

I read somewhere that mowing them down makes them grow back better. Google first, ldo...but I think that is a thing.

You'll know soon! I love poppies, but I can never get them to grow well here.
