I think Pete has a rep as being a players coach much more so than Harbaugh does despite his age as long as he wants to coach I want him running the team. I never liked either one until Seattle hired Carroll I knew the moment they did they'd win more though.
I've read his book and grown to love him as my team's coach but if he wasn't on the Seahawks I'd probably still loath him the way I did when he was at U.S.C. No matter how one feels about Carroll he's in elite company as one of only three coaches ever to win an NFL and NCAA championship.
Harbaugh may be a better X's and O's coach but he's never won a championship in the college nor pro game and is prone to allowing his emotions to have a negative impact on games.
Harbs has his dream job now, needs to ship a national title or two before returning to the pro game if he ever does. S.F. made the mistake of allowing him to leave because of York's son running the franchise, they would still be competing for championships had they kept Harbaugh.
I think Kelly can be really good, but I'm not convinced they will allow him the time needed to transition the entire club to fit his vision.
Also LOL Green Bay, enjoy picking first in the draft in April.
