I think it is an extremely adult option. I haven't heard of many 17 year old pimps around.

I think you only made one mistake.

If you want to suggest someone this career properly you cannot forget to involve coke (or blow as the trendy people like to call it).

Hookers cannot exist without blow and blow cannot exist without hookers. They work hand in hand.

I believe most pimps these days are also drug dealers. Maybe he found the pimp side boring but if he knew there was a drug dealing side too he may have been more interested?

Just a thought. Maybe you could sell it as a dual career next time Pimp + Drug Dealer

Best part is you don't even need a cover letter.

Pretty sure you don't even need to know how to read or right

Just need to know how to count money and I'm sure your female accountant course or whatever it was would have taught you the basics where this is concerned

Thank me later

Last night my radio station aired a new show--about local beer brewers. This morning, some 'samples' are still here.

Drinking at 7am on a Sunday morning--standard.

I'm responding to Luke, because I've seen amazing growth from the kid who posted 7 years ago until now. He was a nuclear mess incapable of even acknowledging common sense.

Luke: You've come a long way, baby. Great job!

If you look carefully at what ALL the respondents said, it is the same message, multiple times...

"YOU can only work on YOUR reaction to your family's opinions, stop worrying about changing them, and start working on changing YOU"

No one should have enough power over you to make you feel like a worthless POS. Even your sister and Father.

YOU made the choices in your life. YOU decided to live at home and go back to school. YOU choose not to live in a dorm, or with a roommate. YOU choose not get ANY job and save as hard as you can to get out of there sooner.

You make the decisions, and YOU need to realize that if YOU feel poorly in your situation YOU did it to yourself and need to come up with a plan to "fix YOUR mistake get yourself out of there" or accept that YOU choose to stay for worthwhile reasons and "deal".

This is 100% wrong.
1. Of people working low wage jobs only about half move up to the next pay level, and less than a quarter ever make it to a pay level above the median wage.

2. "The world needs ditch diggers too"
Your statement translates to the idea that some born, unearned, traits make you a valid member of society.

Tell me, Brown guy, how has that idea worked out for people like you?

I don't know where Lily will end up in terms of employment skills. It's very possible that pushing a broom may be the absolute height of her abilities. I find your idea that-that should make her a slave to some business, living in endless poverty, HIGHLY offensive.

Especially from a very smart guy who doesn't go back to school because he doesn't enjoy it...
So, she should max out her abilities and work as hard as she can for a miserable life, while you laze around in middleclassdom, on the abilities you were born with and no extra effort?

I have an idea, I'm on the tall side of average, and GW is 6'2"...let's base the innate success line on height.

Sure you can argue that rich people feed their children more nutritious foods which promote growth, and that the new "How tall are you?" Screening device is unfair to women and some minorities...

So by my count...it's basically on par with the current system.

Now, shorty, I'd like fries with that.

Local news ran a story about a woman killed, in her car, crossing a railway (railroad? Railroad track?).
Is it bad driving, suicidal lack of concern, Darwinism, or something else?
How does this happen?

Jeez Mr big shot, I just wanted a break inbetween, is that too much to ask? I got the place like totally cleaned now, so I'm all done.

Kristinka I didnt read, can you record yourself speaking it out and email me the recording in attachment?

For what it's worth, I think I'd enjoy being a ditch digger, if that really was a job. I really enjoy a good spade and back breaking labour.

Maybe not full time tho.

I for one support kristys pay by height system!! Although I'm a 1% in the current system I could be even better off in the new one!

I think I understand where you're coming from in your vitriol for "low wage" tilt. I tend to agree that we as a society should be more than capable of producing comfortable lives for the entirety of us. I'm just not sure that simply raising wages, or taxing the wealthy will do such a thing.
02-07-2016 , 12:36 PM
I guess I'll be in the middle class since I'm totally average height.

I agree that neither of those things are perfect fixes. I think they'd help, but not solve.

My vitriol is more directed at the disgusting "IQ and neurotypical" based discrimination and arrogance, as though ANY innate ability raises or lowers the value of a human life.

If ALL low wage workers stayed home tomorrow the world as we know it would cease to exist. They are fundamental, life-sustaining, pieces of our community organism. They deserve respect and autonomy.

ITT Kristy misunderstanding things again and turning everything personal again. Then, twisting your words again.

Not having this debate. You pretty much heard what you wanted and then applied to it your situation.
