I think people with 75k+ paying jobs probably have stressful jobs.
Well...I don't find my job stressful at all. I find taking care of my kids to be more stressful.

I don't quite make $75k, but I can expect to at next raise, & expect to make more from there. I don't expect my job to change, just my time put in at the firm.

I will definitely be happier with each raise. I will also be happier when I get to stop spending half my take home on daycare, pay off cars, etc.

I don't really know what my point is, other than having more extra $ increases quality of life.

It can also be true that the type of person who pushes themself to a certain level of success also is the dirty of person for which nothing is ever good enough & will never be satisfied/happy.

Dubious!

I believe The notorious BIG said it best.

I don't know what, they want from me
It's like the more money we come across
The more problems we see

I think I have to download chess now...

Once you have a household income of $75k, your emotional well-being doesn't improve if you make more money. However, how you feel about your life and accomplishments can continue to rise with higher income and education levels.

I'm not sure how it correlates to disposable income, like if you're living in a ****ty apartment and have a long commute to work every day because you can't afford anything nicer or closer with all your student debt and your pre-Obama hospital bills, I'd think extra income would make you happier. Also, if you live in an expensive place like Hawaii or NYC, the happiness benchmark is higher. http://www.advisorperspectives.com/d...-Benchmark.php

I'm sure aiott could explain this to us with lots of fancy terms like diminishing marginal utility of income

I like that you're being super classy and not mentioning that you crushed me in our first game.
01-26-2016 , 09:23 PM
I guess I figured it went without saying. You admitted to being terrible, not really setting me up for a lot to brag about.

I'm cocky enough to think I'm gonna catch up in under 10 games.

Mark my words!

Hello OMG,

My wife is very drunk so disregard anything she posts in the next 10 hours. Also she always blames me for getting her drunk when she is very drunk.
01-27-2016 , 01:23 AM
Also, also, why are women offended by the word titties when they are actually getting complemented by men on how nice their titties are…
01-27-2016 , 01:49 AM
I complimented my wife's titties without incident. She says it was not offensive, but if a stranger said it maybe, but it probably isn't because of the word "titties".
