people shipped him money (~6.1k usd) to send to a charity after one of his weird marathon drinking things. After that he kinda dropped off the face of the internet and hasn't been in contact with anyone. Another 5k with someone else still hasn't gotten to the charity, and neither has bogans amount. People say oh patience and **** but its been over 3 months, and his response really doesn't say anything about where the money is, or if he even has it. its pretty clearly theft at this point.

If he took it, he took it. I can't help that situation resolve in either direction.
I sent my contribution directly to the charity. Piece of cake.

I fear, mostly, for dean or his family. I suspect something has befallen someone to precipitate his vanishing.

Should that be the case, my sympathetic stance should earn me the papal nomination.
