Unlikely. I won't have to show up for the hearing if it actually happens, and it would be in St. Pete anyway.
I am considering calling a FL divorce attorney & seeing what they can do to expedite an uncontested divorce, but even then I doubt I'll have to show.
She's WOAT person. I only stayed with her for so long because she made me feel so bad about myself I felt I deserved to be treated that badly.

She finally signs them a few months later, & they get turned in to the court in August 2012. All she needs to do is call & set up a hearing. It takes her about 2 months before finally calling & determining that we need to submit financial affidavits before we can get a hearing.
Whatever. I turned in my affidavit within a week (early October). She finally turned hers in January 8th. Now she claims she needs to complete more forms before she can get a hearing date in 10 days.
I don't know whether she's just full-****** & that's why this is taking forever, she's trying to hang on for some dumbazz reason, or whether she somehow knows I plan on getting married this April.
Anyway, I can't trust her to do anything, and since she's the petitioner I can't set up hearings & crap myself without petitioning the court & that could take months.
So I'm considering paying a bunch of $$$ to try to get this done in Nevada in time. Apparently they have quick divorces in Nevada, but it will be close, no guarantee it would work, & would easily cost 4 figures.
Regardless we're going to have the wedding, it just won't be our official wedding day if I'm still married obviously, and that would suck, because it's going to be really badazz marrying someone who's amazing & actually cares about me & such. Plus the baby is coming in June & we'd prefer to be married before he's born, even if that's old-fashioned.
Anyway, sorry for venting, & it's cool if you don't read it, I still y'all.

The problem is, until you meet someone that's actually right for you, if you end up with a psycho byatch, you don't really know that there actually might be someone out there who makes you preposterously happy erry day of your life.
Ya, that's why I feel bad when I see y'all moping around. You're (mostly) good people, & deserve happiness, & until you realize that, it's going to be hard to obtain it.
