LirvA, I know you're all super confused and have a lot of emotions right now, but you should seriously try to step away and not talk to her again. Let her come to you. And when she does, look at her from the perspective of an equal and don't try to control what she does. She's a grown woman and can make her own decisions, much like you can make your own decisions.
How would you feel if she was all, "Having dangerous spiders is just going to get you killed. You need to stomp on and thrown them in the garbage as soon as possible!" Mind you, I'm not saying the two situations are the same (they're obviously not) but you have no place telling her how to live her life especially if these are things you met her already knowing about her.
