We don't have the bomb threat cards. I don't think I've seen a single one at Aviano and IDK why not. They were everywhere at Keesler imo.

Yes I saw the tour imo. Nice house.

Yup. They combined 14 career fields (phone troops, network troops, etc.) into one mega career field and now expect everyone in the new field to be able to do all 14 jobs. So technically speaking, I actually am a phone troop. And they did give me cursory training in phone stuff, though I can't really do much more than run phone cord.

Then again, we're moving to VoIP, so I guess I'll be as close to a phone troop as it comes once the legacy phone guys leave/get promoted.

never knew exactly where biloxi was until i google mapped keesler just now

Hey speaking of rental cars: We just had a bunch of people go TDY to Bulgaria, and they were all issued cars. Then they all got in trouble for driving them because our USAFE/GOV licenses aren't valid in Bulgaria. Then they all had to walk everywhere.

Glad it wasn't me.

they should have taken the cars back and used taxi's .... they were likely to be entitled to a lot of cab fare

i am the reason a lot of squadrons encourage rental cars... when i didn't get one on a TDY i used EVERY single cab ride i was entitled to under the JFTR

05-24-2012 , 01:53 PM
of course it is less of a threat if the base or post has a bus system or vehicle ops does rides

Seeing as how the VP's such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? Cause if it leaks to the VC, he could end up an MIA and then we'd all be put on KP.

What's shocking is that this guy is actually not me. I don't even have SIPR access, which is weird since my job is to, ya know, work on SIPR.
