I was doing a ski tour of local areas and was drinking at a rural bar. This upper 30s, maybe 6, came up and started chattin me up. It felt a little odd from the start, like she seemed disingenuous, and the bartender was paying attention to her and I and seemed to want to say something. I thought whatever, I enjoy attention, and bought some shots for us. I sorta forgot about her being fake, or maybe she relaxed off of it, but I ended up buying like 4 more rounds of shots for her and I and a couple other people up at the bar, before the bartender cut me off and told me I should go, but not like gtfo, more of a kind urging. After skiing the next day, I stopped back in for a couple and some food. The same guy was working and told me how that woman tries to get flirty with non-locals in order to incite her dude to fight them.

Either that, or the bartender was completely leveling me.

I had several of the $10 ropes that have ball bearings in the handles but they kept breaking so i just bought that $40 buddy lee rope and it's so much lighter. Really any rope would be fine as long as it doesn't tangle. It's just a matter of personal preference imo.
