I use my laptop both as a desktop at home and a laptop when im on the go. When im at home, I hook up my external HD and use that as my main poker tracker database

Is it possible to make a second installation of PT3? I'd like it so it would be set up like the following

Current installation: PT3 release on external HD
Second installation: PT3 beta release on internal laptop HD

How exactly do you have PostgreSQL set up? This is certainly doable the question is merely which is the best way to make it work.

postgre sql is installed on the external HD

my laptop HD is completely clean of PT3/postgres
