Ok. So I take table selection pretty seriously. So far ive been using spadeeye, but running two programs is killing me, so i got a 6months sub to tabletracker.

The first thing that bugs me are the buildt in rules. If i remember this correct its been said that you do not wanna disclose how your rules are set up. This bugs me. I wanna know what are given weigth. Offcourse i could build my own set of rules (and i will in time) but i was hoping for some starting help.

One of my concerns is a player that caugth my attention today browsing the tracker. If you see the below image we see that a player with the stats 24/8/1,96 gets the score of -3,64. Why? I realize he has 10,5 bb/100 but still.
Also, this is full ring. Im not sure that the software takes that into consideration? Im thinking it dont.

If anyone has a decent set of rules (preferrably full ring, but 6max is also welcome) id appreciate it.

Closing off with a bug
Using the "buddy" list i keep getting a "fatal error". Is this a known error or new to you guys?

As to the bug first: Is this crash happening when you are actively searching? If so this is a known issue which is resolved for our next Beta release.

With regards to the scoring, you are correct that the scoring mechanism is proprietary and we will not be releasing it. All I know is that the scoring is built to approximate the player's long term expected winrate, and then the inverse is used as the score (so that positive scores denote bad players and negative scores denote good players).

While I keep meaning to take some time and come up with a good set of full ring auto ratings, I have not had a chance yet to do so. Once I do, I will be posting a link and explanation both here and in the PT3 forums.

Oh, pretty please. Love your hud layouts and im sure your auto ratings would be great.

While i have your attention in this post...is there anyway i can make relative rules for the tabletracker?

Example: A player has vpip 17. Can i make a rule that if he's pfr is 80% of vpip then give +/- whatever score?

Edit:

And another thing; There are a number of stats in the custom scoring section that im unsure how to use. I tried the "advanced" guide to TT, but no helt there. Not all the stats seem to be described in the Statistical Reference Guide either. Is there another document to help me out here?

It's on my list of things to look at, as well as my writing of a Pooh-Bah post one of these days

With regards to the scoring, currently the TT scoring checks to see if a player matches a set of criteria, and if they do they are assigned a score. The rules aren't additive/subtractive. So you can't set up VPIP > 30 = +10 and PFR < 5 = +10 so a 31/2 has a score of 20. This sort of thing has been suggested several times and is on the list of features to consider for future releases, though.

I'll make a note to revisit these areas and build a tutorial for them at some point soon.
