Stats not being the same all over? Stats not being the same all over?

This might be me doing something really noobish, but on the General tab, the lower part, Player Statistics, differ from what the rest of the tabs say.

Specifically, I have 2785 hands in my PT3 database, which all the different reports tell me. Except the Player Statistics. When I mouse over the VPIP and PFR numbers there, I get 704/4376 and 483/4376, indicating it uses 4376 hands for that report. There are no other hands in the database, no other limits, no other sites. The VPIP, PFR and other statistics in that window is ever so slightly off from the equivalent numbers in the rest of the database.

Am I not seeing things correctly, or might something be up with my database?

Edit: After some back and forthing, it fixed itself. Someone please delete my post.

Most likely what was happening was that either you had a filter set up, or you had loaded one report and not refreshed it after importing some hands.

For future reference, if this sort of thing happens again try using the "Clear" and "Refresh" buttons at the top right as they will likely fix things for you.

Thanks for the advice, but the error is back now, and I can't currently get rid of it. Right now I have 2830 hands in the database, but that Player Statistics' part tells me that I've vpiped 904/5615 hands and so forth.

I've reset and cleared all filters, multiple times. All other displays are correct, but the Player Statistics is kinda important. It shows the correct numbers for all other players I have stats for. It is weird that it shows more hands than I've played. If there was a filter stuck somewhere, it should show less.

That is certainly strange. Could you please submit a bug report for this issue so that we can follow up further? Make sure to include screenshots showing the discrepancy as that will be useful in the diagnosing process.

I will submit a bug report. I think I'm closing in on something though. When I got the error, I had 2785 hands. The next day, the erronous number was 2785 too high, 5615-2830. I've now played another small session, and the too large number is now 5693, while the correct one is 2863, which makes the difference 2830, the number of hands I started the session and day with with.

That was kinda confusing, so my point is, it looks like the player statistics starts a day by doubling the number of hands and then adding new hands when they get played. I.E the Player Statistics shows a number that is too large by a difference of the number of hands you started a day with. If I start with 3000 hands, the statistics show 6000, and the difference is 3000 throughout. so after 100 hands, most stats show 3100, but the Player Statistics show 6100.

But yeah, I'll make the report.

Make sure to include that analysis in your bug report it might help us track down what's causing the problems for you. It's definitely not normal.
