How can I move the stats box on the graphs?

Click the box and drag it to where you want it to go.

I find that everytime I re-open PT3, the box goes back to the 'default' position - is there a way of getting it to stay to where you moved it to ?

Not yet, but this will be added for the graphs, but also for column widths and sort orders, etc, in the reports. I don't know when this will be done, though.

PT3 Beta 30 Trial Version on Mac OS 10.6 -- I've tried CTRL clicking, double clicking, ALT clicking, etc. to move the HUD stats box, but nothing seems to work. Do I have to click on a certain area? Am I totally missing something?

Oops, posted in wrong thread & can't edit. My stats box inside of the graphs tab is fine. My problem was with the HUD and moving stats around whilst at the tables (for the purpose of seeing stack sizes and so forth). Sorry for any confusion.

Any secondary click should work - try two-finger clicking?

Yeah, tried that...and Command clicking, just about every other combination of Alt clicks, still nothing seems to work.

Apple -> System Preferences -> Mouse, and make sure "Secondary Click" is checked, then try again.

Still no luck. For what it's worth the OS is new to me, and I'm not yet fully adjusted to its quirks. Also, I'm using a trackpad instead of a mouse, if that makes any difference.

Usually to drag something all I have to do is double click the trackpad and slide the selection into the new position (for instance the stats box under the graphs tab in PT3). I have all the options enabled in the Trackpad Preferences tab, including the one mentioned above, and I've even tried unclicking them to no avail.

I'll ask our lead Mac developer to take a look at this thread, but really any secondary click should work.

Ah, I'm not sure if this is important for this issue but if you are still using Beta 30 please update to 30.1.

30.1 confirmed. Tried messing with it last session and same results. The pop-up is working fine & I can customize it, too. Not like it's a huge deal, since the HUD fits the Full Tilt racetrack very well, which is what I use 90% of the time. But still....

Regardless, it's a VERY awesome tool and I appreciate your help. (Probably the solution is something small and silly that I'm missing.)

Could you please report your problem then? We'll investigate further from there.

Under System Preferences->Trackpad try setting the "One Finger -> Secondary Click" to checked and the drop-down to "Bottom Right Corner".

After that is set you should be able to move the HUD elements by clicking and then dragging them as long as you use the bottom right hand corner of your trackpad when you click. (On certain versions of MacOS there is even a video that plays to show you where to click.)

Problem solved! Thanks for the help.

In case anyone else has the same problem, here's the solution:

Thank you for contacting PokerTracker Support.

What you would want to do is put two fingers on your trackpad, and click the mouse button. This will initiate a "Right Click" on your Mac. Then, you will be free to drag the HUD to whichever location that you wish. Once the HUD is at its desired location, you would want to click the little PT icon -> Save Layout.

You can also go to System Preferences -> Trackpad. The "Secondary Click" is the "Right Click" on a Mac, so I would recommend setting that up.

Regards,

Matt
