I guess as a company PT cannot organise sharing of databases as this would make some sites unhappy, but is anything stopping the regular users from doing this?

Wouldn't it be beneficial to share data in a group, so we all have more hands to use? You give a small advantage to your groupmembers, bet get more use out of PT when playing.

Is there a technical reason not to do this?

There is not a "technical" reason this could not be done, but AFAIK it does violate the TOS of the poker sites that I'm familiar with.

There are services out there that will send you HH's for your selected limits for a fee if you really wanted to do something like that.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to share with all people here for starters? Or do you think this is something that is only theoretically good, but we strart to do it, the sites will start banning PT-like software?

To me it seems a bit silly that we are all doing the same work, when infact we could just cooperate and benifit from eachotherss work.

if you look at the right forums you might find it. however, i agree that it is a bad idea to start sharing it here, i know i wouldn't upload my HHs here.

Well we could remove the hands where we are in, so limiting the dat others on us have. This should remove the tactical problems for sharing data.

I am sure that this is far from a novel idea, just found it strange that it is so little discussed or done.
