Several problems with PT3 Several problems with PT3

12-10-2008 , 11:28 AM
I just recently bought PT3 and using it fine, although I do have some problems I'd like to see solved. I opened a support ticket on pokertracker.com but no reply yet. Hope this is a bit quicker because the first problem is really annoying.

- Cashgames pop-up does not work (where you click on the stats). I haven't changed anything in the HUD yet there, although i did change the regular stats, which works fine.
- The HUD stats are solid black, changing the translucency doesn't work.
- I added a table average group, which doesnt show up on the table.

- Sometimes hands get 'lost'. I had a big hand which I lost and I wanted to refresh my graph after. Graph showed break-even, handnumber can't be found in the tabs 'Hands' or 'Sessions' if I check for the table/hand.

The first and last problem is what bothers me the most. Esp the last problem, if it happened with this hands, how many more have been 'lost'?

Please advise, thanks in advance

I found the HH because I was still on the table, made a separate textfile and imported the hand. This worked, it's in my DB now. But still, I don't want this to happen with more hands, idc how small the pots were.

If the hands are in the text file they really ought to be importing. Do they come back with errors in the auto import window?

You do need to refresh the Texas Holdem tab each time you want new data; PT3 does not automatically refresh after importing hands.

For your HUD issues:

(1) Configure --> Hud --> Cash --> Hud Options tab and uncheck "Enhanced Hud Performance" -- one of the things that option does is disable translucency.

(2) Go to the groups tab, click on the general stats group, does it have "default popup" listed as its popup window? It needs to in order for default popup to be displayed when clicking on the stats.

(3) Did you add any stats to the Table Averages group after creating it? You need to, while that groups is highlighted on the groups tab, go to the stats tab and add the stats you want to see there.

About the hand:
It was nót in the textfile, I manually imported it by copying pasting it from the Handhistory window in PS.

No errors in the import window.
And yes I know I have to hit Refresh or switch tabs

HUD:
1) Solved it!
2) It didn't, solved it!
3) I didn't, solved it!

Awesome, that tackled a lot of my worries already

PT3 can only import hands that are written to the hand history. I'm not sure why PokerStars didn't write that hand to the hand history file, but that's something you'd have to take up with them. We just read what PS writes to the file, we don't actually write the file ourselves.

Yeah i figured that much, couldn't find it in the HH files in the Processed folder :?

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

The file isn't moved to the Processed folder until you stop auto importing. Since you were still playing the file was probably still being written to and thus wasn't moved yet.
