It appears that I will soon have to replace my Hard Drive; so I was hoping that you could tell me "How" I would go about saving my data associated with PT3, as I have alot of hands played and do not wish to loose the data.

As always any question of this sort, from me, comes with the caveat that I am PC ******ed; so please keep that in mind when answering

What version of PT3 are you using?

That would be v3.00 build 5.2

Upgrade to Beta 30.5, after the database upgrade finishes, then upgrade to Beta 30.7 (If you do it in this order you avoid a bug which makes the upgrade take an hour longer than it should.). If the cache status bar doesn't show 100%, update your cache. Then click File --> Backup and you can backup your entire PT3 installation from there and restore it in Beta 30.7 elsewhere.
