Refund? Refund?

Is there any possible way to get a refund even if you're not experiencing a technical problem? Wouldn't that be professional to allow for refunds if not 100% satisfied?

Our refund policy is available here.

Generally speaking this is not the case with software that offers a free trial, especially when said trial is 2 months long.

Correct, I was satisfied with the software from the trial, although shortly after the purchase I was made aware of another program which interested me much more. Refunds should be mandatory if requested.

so 100% no refunds final?

We do offer an unprecedented 60 day trial to test drive the software.

We do offer a full refund within 60 days if there is a problem with the software which we cannot resolve via a remote assistance session.

We do not offer unconditional refunds. I have heard every excuse in the book for a refund so we have drawn the line in the sand that refunds will only be provided if there is a functional flaw within the software. Regardless of where the line is drawn, there will always be a few users who barely crossed that line and are upset.

Best regards,

Derek

As a business, refunds should be standard, regardless of the reason. You have to realize that after the trial the average user has hundreds of saves stats and information stored up, so why would somebody make up excuses? In my case it's simply that I wish to purchase a similar software which I have heard better reviews about.. unfortunately it was hours after I purchased full version of PT.

How do you know this other software is so much better?

And what about the other one makes it so much better?

PT3 is just as good as the "other" software I am sure even the ppl who said the other one is better will agree.

If you are just starting out PT3 is actually easier to use than the "other" software.

I trialed both PT3 and HEM before buying. I had a lot of stability and licensing issues with HEM as well as a lot of invalidated inputs in fields. It felt like incomplete software (despite the fact that it appears to have a richer set of features)

I ended up going with PT3 because it offered more than I used at the time, and still does. I played in a VM with a tracker because I use a mac. Now that PT3 released the mac version I am more confident than ever that it was the right choice.

So much so that I am buying my girlfriend a PT3 license as part of her birthday gift.

I guess what I'm getting at is... give HEM a trial before you blow a gasket here, and if you like it that much more... swallow the cost and buy it. If you're a winning player the $80 cost of the extra manager will easily monazite itself over the long run.

thanks for a good reply. It's good to hear another opinion on PT... i think I'll just have to stick to it. I know HEM is not THAT different, although as a paying customer it should be your decision whether or not you wish to refund if not satisfied after purchase. I'll get over it.
