Hi I have downloaded PT3 on my Vista computer but had some problems with getting PostgreSQl to work with it. When I start PT3 I get a error message saying:
'PokerTracker was unable to connect to any PostgreSQL databases.
Make sure you have PostgreSQL running.'

I have used pgAdmin to see if I can work out the problem and I've noticed that in the bar on the left (The object browser) - there is the 2 databases I'm using have red crosses on them.

Things I have tried:

1) Stopping the database then starting it again (Using start/stop service, when I click start server a box comes up saying 'System error 5 has occured. Access is denied.)
2) Uninstalling PT3 and PostgreSQL and installing them again
3) Shutting down my firewall
4) Deleting postmaster.pid and starting the database

Thank you all.

This is often a firewall problem so please read our Firewall Guide - what firewall do you have?

I am using Zonealarm but I have tried shutting it down and starting Pokertracker or PostGre and it still doesn't work.
I think the problem is that PostGre database doesn't start up, but I can't be sure.
