I'm getting ready to transfer my PT3 files to a new PC due to an impending Hard drive failure; and you suggested that I upgrade to the new beta 30version. I did; but when I went to open the program it simply would not come up??

I "think" the problem was with the new version, as I had no trouble with the 3.00 Build 5.2 version; so.....................

I uninstalled PT3; and reinstalled the version 3,00 Build 5.2,(full installation); as I didn't think the Beta 30 patch would do any good without PT3 being installed 1st.

The problem is that I cannot connect to the Database now. The message says to "check configuration"

Could you tell me where I went wrong in this mess, and how to correct, please
