I notice that the notes feature seems to have been implemented in one of the last few upgrades. However, I don't see any import/export feature for notes in PT3. I also don't see any notes in my PT3 database on players who I know I've made notes on through the poker site itself.

I don't want to add a note through PT3 and lose the notes I already have on the site. That would be a minor catastrophe. So can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

Notes have been available in PT3 for a long time, however there isn't yet a way to import/export to the poker sites.
There are plans to improve note-taking, in particular by making it available directly from the HUD. (import/export will be added for those sites where it's possible, too, of course)

I don't get it. What good is the note feature if can't import/export the info for real time play and independent review? You mean that you can make notes for viewing only when replaying hands in the PT3 player? I don't see the use of that. Stars has a note file. Why can't PT3 just use that (for import and export).

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I find it odd that so little attention is given to self and opponent analysis. I can't be the only one who pours over my sessions to find the best lines against certain opponent tendencies or what their actions represents. This is kind of important stuff to be left out of a poker tracking software. ???

mind if i derail this slightly and ask why ftp notes import/export haven't been included in pt2 yet?

As I said, note functionality will be expanded, but there are lots of other things that need to be done as well, and everything has to be prioritised.
