There will be a sticky announcement in this forum as well as the PokerTracker 3 Forum but if you want to create a Support ticket I'll try to set it up so that you get an automatic notification when it is released.

It is also likely that there will be a request for alpha testers in the run up to the initial beta release so if you'd be interested in doing some active testing and helping us to iron out the initial bugs keep your eyes peeled (and mention that if you create a support ticket).

Do you know if the Mac version will work on PowerPC machines or is it Intel only?

I believe it should work on PowerPC as well, I think the minimum is OS 10.2, though it might be 10.3.
