Sorry for yet another thread. I gave up on PT3 a while back because it started losing a lot of my hands that I was using for my bookkeeping.

My problem is that the HUD doesn't pop up on my tables even though the symbol is up. The only thing that pops up is the previous hand after showdown.

the following picture shows that auto-import is currently working, all the processes are up and running, and the symbol on my table without any stats on other players.

under configure HUD, the translucency is on the darker range and all the steps on the PT3 help site have been followed with no results. I'm pretty sure all the correct databases are connected to.

What ended up being the problem, out of curiosity?

I guess my first problem with PT3 about half a year ago was about postgres. before looking up a fix i tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling and on top of that transfer my PT3 to an external. This caused a lot of problems. Well I guess doing that duplicated a lot of databases and I had them all checked which was the problem. I have no idea what the databases are for but i just did a trial and error with each one and finally one worked.

I guess I have one more question since you posted in this thread. I guess every license you buy you can stick it on 2 computers. well the first license was put on a computer that i turned into a picture frame. the 2nd is on my external. well I just ordered a new desktop to do all my poker. is there a way to stick PT3 directly on that computer or am i out of luck and have to purchase another set?

If a computer that PT3 was installed on is no longer in service, that installation no longer counts against you. So your picture frame gets to both look fantastic on your living room wall, and doesn't count against your PT3 registration code count. It's only currently in-service computers that matter.

I don't know the exact details of how our registration server does it, but I do know it works

i have the same problem , did u say that u just uninstalled and then reinstalled and it worked fine?

if its my first post that you are referring to then you have to go to -configure hud, last tab, and make sure the right databases are clicked.

i just went through them one by one until it worked for me. took me a while because i thought all of them had to be clicked but its just one. after that they all popped up for me on the tables after 6 months of not working.

hope that helps. I'm not even sure if that's the right thing to do. i just fiddled with it and it worked all of a sudden.
