When I open PT3 i get a message that reads the following:

Unable to execute query: Select id_player, id_site, player_name, val_icon, FROM player WHERE id_player > 0 AND id_player alias = 0 AND id_player in (SELECT DISTINCT holdem_table session_summary.id

wtf does this mean? How do I get it back to normal.

This message appears in Red where typically the list of players in the DB would be. I removed some stats from my current HUD cash config yesterday and thats the only thing I had done out of the ordinary.

Please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket and we'll look into what could be causing this for you.
