Do more HUD groups cause lag?

My HUD causes FTP to freeze everytime I try to play 10+ tables. I make sure to perform housekeeping on my databases very routinely. If I put all my stats into one group, would I be more likely to have a more efficient HUD?

The more stats you have the more work PT3 has to do, but I'm not sure how much effect the number of Groups will have.

Have you tried the different 'HUD Performance Level' settings on the HUD Options tab? Different settings will work better on different computers, so try them out.
