I created a new database, imported some hands, reviewed them an added notes, now I want to send this database to someone else so he can review them and read my notes, but I can't find the directory.

Where does PT save new databases?

thanks in advance

The database is saved in postgresql. You can go to database -> database management, click on export... and use the filter here to select the hands and whatnot to export that you want to send.

thats what I already tried, but if I create another database and import this file, it doesn't show the notes.

That is correct. To make a backup of your actual database instead of just exporting your hands, please see the instructions given in this post. Also, if you plan on installing PT3 on another computer and you want to bring your settings as well, you might want to have a look at this thread.
