This didn't seem to be a problem for the first while with PT3. But now when my database is clustering it is taking like 20x longer than earlier even though my database has only grown maybe 10% since then. On top of that, it is completely crippling my machine while it clusters so that any other task is quite a challenge...

How big is the database?
How long does the cluster take?
What version of PT3?

the newest version of PT3 sadly....database has probably like 550k hands.....clustering takes like 30 minutes every single time and completely takes over my computer..

There's a new improved cluster mechanism in Beta 15. You shouldn't need to cluster nearly as often anymore.

i have beta 15...how am i supposed to know when to cluster...it never says anything and i just have it checked when i import

Hard to say, but I usually do it every 200k hands or so and I think that works well.
