heres my situation:

i currently have a partitioned HD on my laptop. i have downloaded and installed the pt3 (postgresql included) software onto my 2nd hd. (called Data : D)

after installing the pgm, i opened it, and i also needed to install postgre SQL, however this pgm went onto my 1st HD (Data:C). i want to change the directory of this program or file to Data: D how do i do this? I know its important that everything is in one hd, for when work it, due to it needed a particular amount of space, and the only drive i have completly clean is my 2nd drive.... if i left any information you need out, plz let me know... thanks!

You should follow the instructions in this post to set up a tablespace on your data hard drive, and then all of the data will be in the location you set up.
