Two pairs on the turn; cap? Two pairs on the turn; cap?

My question is about how I played on the turn;

Full Tilt Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (2 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, 5
Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls

Flop: (6 SB) 5, J, 9 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls

Turn: (4 BB) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, Hero calls

River: (12 BB) 5 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, BB calls

Total pot: $40 (20 BB) | Rake: $0.50

Without reads, giving the Turn action, I put him on AA /JJ /99. Really

I think I just call the river bet

I like the river Raise, but call the river 3bet.

Capping isn't all that bad because people do this with crazy crap and your hand is strong.

Def 3 bet turn - after he check raises here he most likely has AK/AQ/getting annoyed with QQ/KK. His cap makes it bit more tricky but I'd still go for 1 raise on river even if 5 didn't hit. Very opp. dependant this one; quite a few villains will be capping that turn with not a lot, esp. if you've been aggressive with draws then folding.
He shows 99/JJ/AJ yes?

You're destined to lose tons of money in this hand; 1 or 2 BBs here or there don't matter much - I wouldn't be worried a lot about spots like these since they are so rare. It's like you shouldn't care much about mistakes similar to mistakenly folding a RF

someones read their sklansky ^^^

I agree play it loud. What are you going to do fold to the turn cap?

Obv once the river pairs... well all is fair in love war and LHE sorry broooooooooo cappuccino

edit: I dont think putting ANY villain on a set (like 80%+ certainty) is ever possible until a river raise/lead in HUHU.

I think the turn 3bet is fine. I'd just call the river unimproved. Since you caught the 5 and have now passed AJ and A9, I like raising the river, but I just call the 3bet. On a bad day, he shows up with AA or JJ. On a good day, he has J5 or an lol QT or some such.

Has he ever taken the 3-bet, bet, c/r line before? Some guys seem to only do this with superstrong hands, others like to do it when they improve on the turn. I like the turn 3-bet more if he's the latter obviously. Calling and raising a non-9 non-J river also is ok if he won't ever check/call the river after taking that line.
