Do you think it is more likely for a fish to sit down with you at a 3/6 table if you have 330 or 80?

Pretty simple question, I see both from good players. So if you coul tell me which one you prefer and why, it would be appreciated.

I don't think fish put that much thought into it, and to the extent that they do, it's not clear that fishes' thoughts are going to lean heavily one way or the other in the aggregate.

If I had to make a guess, I think they prefer seeing more money because they probably will have some irrational hope that they might win it all.

After any session I leave the table and sit back in with the standard stack, on my assumption that the fish are least put off by that. I believe if they see a few waiting tables, one of which has double the amount of the others, they might go thinking that that player's better than the rest on account of his bigger roll or whatever. Probably more true when someone's there with an odd amount larger than the standard, showing that they've just won a session. Which would lead to the corollary that if you sit in with an odd amount < standard that might attract them, but I don't see anyone doing this or feel the need to myself.
But that's a very unsubstantiated hypothesis, and it can't really be fairly tested.
At the lower levels its not really an issue as you're never waiting more than 5mins anyway, but at 10-20+ I think this would be a valuable tool in the competition for action.

lol i think u guys are giving the fish WAY too much credit.

Do you all realize how degenerate gambling behavior ACTUALLY is. They definitely dont shop tables/compare stack sizes ever.

I always try to have an even "standardish" amount in my stack so it doesn't look like I've been winning.

No idea whether it works or not tho.
