is there any books on limit holdem hu ?

The best way to learn this game is to put in the time at the tables and to learn to think for yourself.

That may sound like a blow-off but it's probably the most solid advice you'll get in this thread.

all the groups are so random wtf? why are AJo and J9s in the same group lol they have such different equities Hu vs a random hand and play so differently

just put in the time people here are all very bitter how dead the game has become... me too tbh

There's some pretty good stuff in the Stoxtrader book "Winning in Tough Hold em Games". It's a little bit out dated for more advanced strategy, but as far as fundamentals go there isn't a better LHE book out there imo.

I need 1k or 2k VPPS to retain Supernova and I only have 31 hrs to do so. Search Chinamaniac on Stars in about an hr and I will 2 table you 5-10 and 10-20 and we can review the play later

raise it all.

expert tip : 3bet all hands that look nice, like suited hands, aces, kings, queens, connectors. after that, bet/raise as much as you can. show who is the boss.

I would but I've got tournies and other cash games going. Someone in the LC/NC thread might be down for playing you.

Why do you have 8 groups of hands when you will only have to deal with 2 positions? Try simplifying your approach. We're still waiting on Johnnyrocket to publish his book.

Would this be an appropriate time to ask David where all my Sklansky dollars are?

with connectors is it only non gap connectors or 1 and 2 gap as well ?

and with the aces kings queens do i need to catch a pair on the flop or should i just bet/raise it to the end ?

when do i fold when i get reraised or when i totaly miss my hand ?

best regards

Yeh muppets is being, ahem, a muppet by saying you need to think for yourself. Since there's only 2 of you playing it's actually very simple and you can do well by playing to simple rules, just like blackjack if you're familiar with that?

So, to get you started (and if you've mastered pf the rest follows easily):

Connectors it's only no gap and 1 gap, but if they're suited connectors this can give you an extra 350 equities.

Ax Kx and Qx you're very strong and should lead whenever there's no overcards. Hopefully you'll hit the turn or river too.

Never fold if you're reraised, people are crazy and bluff raise nearly every hand, and you've always got at least 6 outs.

I just say stuff like that because I want to give off the impression that I'm smarter than I really am.
