What's in your WSOP bag? What's in your WSOP bag?

I went deep in a tournament for the first time a couple weeks back. It was 12+ hours and I wasn't really prepared for that. I know most players carry a backpack of some kind. So, I'm curious to know, what's in your WSOP bag that you're taking for the actual games?

I'm putting one together and I have some basic things like gum and hand sanitizer, but I want to know what else you guys carry.

The fact that they were doing random bag searches...don't want to get banned from CET properties

OK, let me clarify. I'm a fan of carrying legally. I have my NV permit, I'm completely above-board with it. So I have no qualms about carrying, bag search or otherwise. As far as I can tell, the Rio does not have a sign barring legal concealed carry. Some businesses out here do that, I know what the sign looks like, and the Rio doesn't have one.

After living in AZ, those pesky NV weapons laws sure are a downer, huh?

I don't think any of them are posted "no carry", but you need a NV permit...

NV does recognize some out-of-state permits. California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida are not on the list.

Having an NV permit is nice because it is accepted in so many other states. But that's also because NV has a decent set of requirements. So if a state is not strict about their own requirements, then NV tends to NOT reciprocate. For example, UT reciprocation was dropped a couple years ago because of a change in standards in UT. But UT continues to accept NV permits - God Bless America

I've never had an issue carrying in a casino but I keep it discrete and all my permits are in order and on me at all times.

Has it ever come to the attention of the casino that you were carrying while playing poker?

Not to my knowledge. But that doesn't mean that I haven't been spotted. Realize that TONS of people out here have their CCW. And some people even do open carry (I've seen it myself while out, never done it). So seeing a firearm on someone out here isn't exactly "rare". No one has ever said anything to me but that may just mean that they saw it and didn't make much of it. Having said all that, I did spend time picking out the right one for concealed carry along with a discrete holster. I'd like to think I conceal it well.

Just wondering why you feel the need to carry a gun or a knife in a Poker Room? So you can shoot the dealer if he /she deals you a bad hand? Or stab someone in the neck if they give you a bad beatdown? Not sure if I would want to play at a table where someone was carrying a lethal weapon on their body. Seems to me that you are going in there with the attitude to use deadly force if required, and God only knows what level of tilt would be enough for you to pull out that gun and start blazing away. Scares the **** out of me.

If you're planning on raising from the cut-off, you might think twice if you knew the BB was packing heat. Just sayin'

Why the **** would anyone feel the need to carry a gun at the WSOP, it's a casino.

If it was some underground sketchy home game fair enough.

Also, how is having a gun in your backpack remotely useful, like if you're suddenly in a life threatening situation are you going to be like 'just a sec let me unzip my bag and fish around inside it for my gun'

Scary to think that people would be allowed to carry inside a heavily packed casino where people win and lose amounts of money that cause emotional swings.
