You are just being a ****.

I support The Trooper!

Here are the 10 reasons why I am not worried to pledge money for The Trooper:

1. He is NOT going to spend it on booze.

2. He is NOT going to spend it on cigarettes.

3. He is NOT going to spend it on drugs.

4. He is NOT going to spend it on hookers.

5. He is NOT going to spend it gambling in the pits.

6. He is NOT going to spend it on luxurious cars.

7. He is NOT going to spend it on entitled trophy girlfriend.

8. He is NOT going to spend it on expensive clothing.

9. He is NOT going to spend it on lavish dinners.

10. He is going to spend it on equipment that makes his videos better!

... and that is even before he spends it on better living conditions.

Please support The Trooper!

Go to your atf thread and make a request to the mods if you want it to be closed.

Now he is uprgrading with your money.

No extra hours to build roll and payoff debt.

Just a tin cup on the sidewalk looking for handouts.
I reviewed your previous posts and came to the conclusion that you are not the troll that people have you labeled you as. However, this post is completely out of line. Sure, he could throw a ton of money at the vlog and lose money on that venture just as he is losing money on his poker venture. How much sense would that make?

He is trying to make a living off youtube. He doesn't have anywhere close to enough viewers to do this the conventional way. However, what he does have is an incredibly dedicated fanbase. Most youtube viewers aren't willing to donate money to watch free videos. However, Trooper's fans aren't typical youtube viewers. They are an incredibly dedicated fanbase. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him leveraging that. He created it. He earned it.

Nevada has very lenient gun laws in general but guns are not allowed in a casino. If you want to know more you should probably consult an attorney.

Violence is not nice, it's not cool, and it really has no place in this discussion. This is just a video about a guy trying to make a living playing poker while showing the sights and sounds of Vegas. Sure he acted tough on video because he's somewhat of a tough dude and it makes for an entertaining vlog. Sumist made some comments which were playin' on the tough guy persona that Trooper has portrayed in the videos. Sumist has no intention of being violent with Trooper and Trooper has no intention of being violent with anyone so stop trying to incite ****.

Actually, the number is over 40 patrons and the average donation is a bit under $10/month.

Keep in mind that the monthly number is inflated because one time donations are assumed to continue.

I support The Trooper, the money will be put into a good use!

It's actually a great option that we can make a higher one time donation. I tried it and it's not a problem. As soon as your first payment is processed, you can easily lower or even completely cancel your monthly pledge. Please consider a higher one time donation: $25, $50, or even $100. I have lost $100 countless times on coin flips like AKs vs Pair and I don't think contributing a higher amount would hurt me. It will actually make the vlogs and our experience better.

For those of you who would like to contribute $100 or higher, please note, the Patreon will want to charge you immediately and put the money into the escrow. They want to make sure you are not bluffing.

I was just out for a week and had a ball. I met Trooper and basically had to FORCE a Starbucks card and a little cash in his pocket.

I explained that HIS TIME IS WORTH MONEY. He puts in a lot of hours putting the videos together. (so Trooper, obviously my account is my dogs name not mine...)

How many here subscribe to Live at the Bike? and other forms of video content?

I am very glad he is willing to be paid for his hard work!!!!!

Thanks man! I actually made the decision that day to do Patreon, then I ran into you. Then I got an email that same night requesting that I do it. It just makes sense. Thanks again!

Haha that is a no brainer:

16. He is going to spend it on Starbucks Coffee

In my book these are all reasonable expenses, I can relate to them. I also pay for business expenses, make mortgage payments, buy groceries, gas, and pay off the business loan. I am perfectly fine with all of them.

For someone who is trying to get people to enjoy their content and contribute financially to your cause you should probably engage a little more tactfully.

I can only assume this defensive tone and condescension translates to the vibe you give off at the table.

I've donated and viewed and done my part but as someone who has been active on 2p2 since I started playing poker you should be a little more embracing of these forums and some of the good advice that's been relayed to you.

Taking a break from this thread and associated ****ery.
I assume in a few weeks nothing will change.

Good luck to you Tim.

Dayum...

This....

I have been a big fan of Tim since the second I seen this thread. Have watched all of his videos multiple times. Have even sent him suggestions on how to make more money on Youtube (I myself am an affiliate marketer who makes 6 figures a year from internetz marketing) so I am in a good position to help.
Being such a big fan you would assume I would be relishing the opportunity to meet him when I am in Vegas in a weeks time.
I am actually worried that maybe some of the constructive criticism has been taken the wrong way and as such will not mention to him if I see him that I comment on this thread.

I think it would be better if Tim had never discovered the 2plus2 forum tbh. If you are going to believe the positive feedback, you have to believe the negative.

It seems like the trooper posting on here is different to the trooper who makes the Vlogs

Man it looks like The Trooper could benefit from your experience! I love his videos and I want to see him succeed. That is why I decided to support him. What do you think would be the best way for him to monetize all the work he's done so far?

Just under 9 million dollars in poker rake for April in NV. 647 tables with internal charges of $1.60 for a bottle of water.
There are 66 poker rooms in Nevada.
On or around the Las Vegas Strip there were 306 poker tables in April, and they accounted for roughly $5.3 million of the $8.57 million.

Anyone thinking about getting some coaching from Trooper97 Fan?
Seems like a nice guy and from his responses, he's just like Tim except he's tougher.
I'm in!
