Trooper,

I just about died seeing that logo plonked on top of your opening montage sequence. Please don't **** with the sublime beauty of your opening sequences by doing such a crass move.

I love trooper blogs but let this logo be 1.0 lol

I agree, getting a logo was a great idea, but I feel like you could get a better one done. No offence to whoever made it.

Yea this is not a BAD logo whatsoever- but it shows the potential for what a trooper logo may end up being

Trooper: You know twice now I've heard you talk about going in to play for a mere 3 hours. What are you doing? Why would you bottleneck your winrate by going in for some predetermined amount of time? Your decision to leave should be based upon nothing more than how well you are doing (or can do) at the table, not some arbitrary amount of time, especially one as paltry as 3 hours. You cant accomplish anything in 3 hours. This is a total waste of your time. To top it off, I always see you headed out in daylight. The best time to play is in the evenings. You should be living a total nightlife as long as you're single and have no other commitments (and a job doesnt count, work day shift)

Also dont feel guilty about leaving carts out, my first job was a cashier at whole foods and I always liked getting carts, since it was time outdoors away from the register. Always an easy 20-30 minutes to kill.

Oh yeah, you might want to contact Starbucks for some kind of endorsement deal, I always want some after watching a vlog lol.

For his channel a phone accessory advertiser (lets use Beats By Dre as an example), may pay out $2.50 cents per view (which the viewer of the video has to watch the ad for 30 seconds, or half of the ads' time, whichever comes first). An advertiser with a much higher end product, We'll use Nissan for example, they may pay $13 per view. Our of this adsense money, Google/Youtube keeps 45% of it I believe and the rest is paid out to the channel.

Trooper's videos are starting to take on a true feel of their own and it's a one of a kind channel. I subscribe to over 200 channels and his Vlogs are some of my favorite to watch. It only takes one big video to go viral and the success will steamroll from there. I have a friend from college who is an actress/youtube personality now and she's doing quite well. She had a monetized video awhile back that had something like 13.5M views which paid her out around $75K over the course of a few months. It's all about the monetization and finding the right offer/ad that fits your niche & targeted viewers.

With anything in life, if you put in the work, it will blossom. It's good to see a story like this from the start. Tim is a really intelligent guy. From talking to him many times, he knows his stuff and he sees the big picture.
I think your a bit misguided on the sums made. It's about 25 cents per a thousand views

Lol @ beats giving someone $2.50 per a view. They wouldn't even make any money. So for every 100 views they give away $250? And that's assuming they will actually sell a headset to some of those 100 viewers. Then they have to pay all the employees, manufacturing costs etc. Lol @ $2.50 a view

And going by this logic some of the biggest YouTubeers would be some of the richest people in the world! Making millions per a video.

The woman who got 15 million views probably got about 5-6k. In fact... It was probably 7.5k that you've turned into 75k. In fact a lot of these big YouTube people are bringing out 2nd lines of business such as clothing or books. Why do you think this is? Because YouTube doesn't pay them so much, that's why!

He already clarified it was just a hypothetical example and that the #s were not meant to be accurate. Keyboard cops in full force though

Keep up the good work.
I forgot to mention that the above is based on LA experiences.
It seems LV is different. In LA both stores offer %100 money back
guarantee on everything as long as u have used/tried the product for
less than 30 days and kept receipt. (laptops, cameras, bottles of wine 1/2 empty,
bags of vegetables and fruit opened etc etc etc)
So for me i have always had a very good shopping experience.
In LA they would refund your tablet purchase or price match plus %15.
In LA all fruit and vegetables and anything else in the TJ store you can just
bring back the label tell em u didn't like it and they refund u %100.

Troop you have so many followers you should of had them vote on three or four ideas for the logo before going to press.

Your catch phrase and some reference to video/vlog in the logo should be depicted.

You may do foolish things but you are not a fool.

No doubt. Cease and desist inevitable. Right now he's not on their radar so it probably doesn't matter. But if his goal is to monetize his "brand" and channel then surely this is a problem and he needs to scrap this asap.

Troop in case you are thinking that you've given them so many plugs and are such a big SB advocate that they wouldn't sue you, I can assure you they don't give a damn. Don't get sued man.

I appreciate Trooper being an HONEST and STAND-UP guy representing HIMSELF in Vegas. It is appalling that he has haters . This guy CONTRIBUTES POSITIVELY to the community.
If you believe this guy is white trash or in some way not worthy of respect, YOU ARE A PIECE OF ****, and probably couldn't be a week from your mommy.

KEEP GETTING IT TROOPER- only weak, scared , shortsighted idiots hate on positivity .

Doesn't makes sense to sue him. While the logos are somewhat similar, there is no likelihood of brand confusion and if anything it will make people think of Starbucks which is good for Starbucks. Only an idiotic company would try and shut down someone that is providing them with daily positive free viral marketing that reaches thousands of people. If anything they will probably throw some free product his way if he gets on their radar. Only thing they get by suing is bad press and thousands of ticked off customers.

Troop is a good target for a suit. Big bucks to be gained.

Word.

I know change is often hard to accept when you are used to something else, but this change will not be softened over time Troop.

The spinning starbucks knockoff logo...the light blobs moving around...the obnoxious militaryesque theme music?

No man. Just no.

Branding before having a product is going to slow the process imo. Continuing the same ole will scare some viewers off. Why not expand the videos subject matter deeper into poker and/or more about the surrounding areas and produce a viable viewer count. I believe there is a lot of potential in what he is doing.
03-18-2016 , 04:04 PM
The logo concept is debatable but don't worry Starbucks doesn't own the rights to circles and dark green lettering.

This thread is like a fricking wild fire. I literally shake my damn head everyday. It truly is amazing.

By the way, let's throw another thicket into the fire...

OP in the latest vlog! Thanks to iRaiseProffs. I might not have found Troop's videos w/o this thread.

No man. Just no.
100% agree with this.

Nevertheless, hope the branding will help you grow your channel.
