Firstly i am slowly checking out all the threads here in the las vegas lifestyle forum, so if i ask something that has been answered i apologize.

I am coming to vegas from overseas for 3 weeks to play poker end of July and wanting to know a few things:

1 - With poker in vegas, do you tip the dealers or only bar staff etc?

2 - If i am on tilt, is there anywhere to go around the vegas area, to get away and relax i.e hoover dam etc?

3 - A friend here said that some vegas rooms dont have fridge's? they just have an ice box is that correct? and also a standard room at the luxor do u know if they have a fridge or not

4 - As i will be there for 3 weeks, how much should i budget for food per day, i wanna try and eat mostly healthy but it is vegas so yeh.

5 - Where is the softest 1-2 game in vegas (with 100x BB buyin), basically im starting at 1-2 with a good bankroll, dont wanto play higher at this time.

6 - Are there any local baseball / other sports you can watch locally besides mma (i am a big mma fan just wanting to know)

7 - Name 3 things i cannot not see when i go to vegas.
cheers

1 - With poker in vegas, do you tip the dealers or only bar staff etc?

You tip the dealers when you win a pot. Small pot $1, big pot, whatever you want.

2 - If i am on tilt, is there anywhere to go around the vegas area, to get away and relax i.e hoover dam etc?

Yes, you can take a trip to Hoover Dam, Lake mead, Red Rock Canyon or many other places.

3 - A friend here said that some vegas rooms dont have fridge's? they just have an ice box is that correct? and also a standard room at the luxor do u know if they have a fridge or not

A standard room at Luxor does not have a fridge. I think they charge extra if you need one. Tell them you need it for your medicine and they might not charge you.

4 - As i will be there for 3 weeks, how much should i budget for food per day, i wanna try and eat mostly healthy but it is vegas so yeh.

No Idea. Fast food is cheap, fancy restaurants are not. You can buy a 24 hour buffet pass that is good at all MGM Mirage properties or an all day pass at Harrahs Ent. $34.99 for the HET one.

5 - Where is the softest 1-2 game in vegas (with 100x BB buyin), basically im starting at 1-2 with a good bankroll, dont wanto play higher at this time.

MGM and many other places.

6 - Are there any local baseball / other sports you can watch locally besides mma (i am a big mma fan just wanting to know)

Las Vegas has a triple A baseball team, the games aren't that exciting but they are cheap. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/s...00&m=07&y=2010

7 - Name 3 things i cannot not see when i go to vegas.
cheers

Vegas is ground zero for Bachelorette/Bachelor parties. Usually there is anywhere from 5-30 people.

If there's a group of 5-30 chicks, most likely they are drunk as **** and partying their asses off. If you have game i'm sure you can find one that's DTF.

If you are a winner at 1/2nl online just play 2/5nl in vegas. I don't think it can go too wrong... almost variance-free grind.
