Here is per night prices I can get (after resort fees and taxes) and how Im ranking them. Any help on if Im way off on any would be appreciated. Thanks.

Planet Hollywood- $80
Ballys- $51
Linq- $61

I like planet Hollywood but clean and quiet Cromwell is your choice and it’s not close

Scratch Bally's. It's haunted so the ghosts make a lot of racket.

It's worth it to pay a little more to stay at the Rio if that's an option.

No Harrah's? It's my favorite Caesars property because it's cheap, great location, and it's really easy to get from the valley tower to the parking garage.

Of the 4 you listed I would go with Bally's. It's fine, it's cheap, good location, and you can get a great strip view for a little more money

Harrahs is showing up about $210 a night for me that week. And for every 1 person that recommends the Rio on here there are 9 that says stay away.

I stayed at the RIO and I thought it was fine. I liked that i could run up to my room during breaks instead of standing outside of the washrooms for longer than the length of the break.

Cromwell is the nicest, but it's very small/boutique and can be noisy. I Ballys and Harrahs are good 2nd/3rd choices as they have great locations and access to stuff and get the job done. RIO would be dead last for me even though location would be easiest for WSOP

So OP- it sounds like you have never been to Vegas before. Do you plan to rent a car? Do you mind paying for a lot of cabs? What do you envision yourself eating everyday during your long stay? Are you a fast food all the time kinda guy or planning to fine dine a lot? What games and stakes do you play? Planning to play bracelet events everyday? All your answers will be relevant to helping you figure out where to stay

Been there a few times but always stayed at Gold Coast. Have about 300 dollars in reward credits I want to use up is why Im staying at a Caesars property. Playing 1 bracelet event for sure then depending on what tourneys are going on at time. Most cash will be played at Wynn ot Aria with maybe aome limit at Orleans.

Cromwell is the nicest of these, BUT the sound from DRAIs goes right through the hotel, particularly if your room is anywhere near an elevator shaft. If your priority is restful sleep, not Cromwell...

I plan to play most if not all night most nights and get to room 4-6ish am and sleep until 12-2ish pm if that helps eliminate the club noise. (dont know their hours)

Cromwell is anything BUT quiet. You can hear the street through those old windows and if you're too high you can hear Drai's thumping above your head.

It doesnt. They go after hours AND have day pool parties.

If you want quiet, don't go Cromwell. Plus the food options there are pretty ****.

Linq is meh.

If you just want clean and quiet I would go PH or Ballys. (PH has way better food options all hours of the day/night).

If you don't really care about the prices then it's PH >>> everything else and it's not really close. Cromwell is really loud and although any of the 4 is 'fine' PH is the best of them.

Linq beds are trash IMO

You could still stay at the Gold Coast and spend the reward credits on food.

The WSOP schedule is a little different this year because they are running more levels on some events, meaning they start a little earlier. You might not be getting much sleep, a problem I run into also during WSOP.

Ballys is my vote, stayed there a lot and never had any issues, PH would be my close 2nd.

I've stayed at Bally's for many WSOP trips in the past, and it served me very well. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, and the location is convenient to many other casinos. In October, the walk from Bally's to Rio should be quite reasonable if you are so inclined.

Of the Caesars properties the one I would recommend most is Caesars Palace, but it sounds like that is not an option.

When I first started going to the WSOP in 2010, the Rio was a great option. But by my last trip in 2019, it was just depressing.

Planet Hollywood is fine, marginally nicer than Ballys. But it is also more expensive, noisier, and farther from the Rio.

I've never stayed at Cromwell, but it sounds like it has the same drawbacks at PHo except for the distance.

I've also never stayed at Linq. I did stay at that location once 10 years ago back when it was Imperial Palace, and it was absolutely the worst hotel out of the 20+ places I've stayed in Vegas.

Someone mentioned Harrah's, but I see no advantage to that over Ballys. It is actually a slight downgrade from Ballys in quality IMHO, and farther from the Rio. The same would definitely apply to Flamingo.

Harrah's and Flamingo are actually closer to the Rio if you're walking. You just go across the street and through Caesars, out the back and over to the Rio parking lot. Caesars is obviously closest though.

Unless your some rich big shot fancy hotel snob I would be shocked if you had any problems with a room at the Rio. Which will obviously have tons of cash and mtts running. But if your plan is you dead set really wanna play cash on the strip (nothing wrong with that whatsoever).

All of Caesars strip hotels are well run and fine. Ballys would be fine. In terms of quietness thats all gonna come down to your neighbors no matter which hotel you end up at.

If I was you I would take Ballys since its the cheapest without a 2nd thought. But if you could get Rio for close or cheaper I would do that easily. To each their own though.

Thanks for all the info everyone. I'm booking something today or tomorrow. Just a few things, closeness to the RIO doesn't matter to me when I go there during the week I'm not walking to it. Also its amazing to me how polarizing the RIO is with so many people saying its fine to stay and so many others saying its death warmed over.

I have been staying mostly at the RIO since 2006 my first WSOP - I go basically every other year depending upon my work schedule. Someone stays at the RIO for the massive convenience of being on property... Going to your room on dinner breaks, all of the Satellite action, etc. The rooms are LARGE but depending on how recent the remodel pretty thread worn but I have always found them clean (unlike some other reports) The Casino itself is a dive in comparison to most others. Eating options are low end marginal with a couple exceptions. Would I stay there if the tournament was at another location -- ABSOLUTELY NOT -- But the convenience outweighs all of the negatives if you are staying any amount of time (a week or so ). Having stayed elsewhere and played the WSOP is just a PITA so unless I would plan on staying the entire month I personally think for the typical dedicated REC player the RIO is the best choice as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations of the facility.

I also stay @ the Rio once a year during the WSOP. Book in the Masq. tower as the rooms there were more recently renovated. I liken the vibe to a Courtyard-esque room and I generally don't spend much time in it. Every morning I walk to the strip to get a large breakfast at a place like Bouchon. Usually not too hot and good to stretch the legs - will be pretty nice this October!

Any other trip to Vegas and I'm in the Venetian, Aria, or Wynn. Rio is definitely NOT on par!

I do worry that now that the Rio has been sold if it will really slip until the new Owners decide what to do with it . . .

Well Caesars had been letting it slip for about ten years or so, it was their only property in Vegas that had zero dollars spent on room renovations.

So, umm, how much worse could the Hyatt actually do? Lol.

I've stayed at the Rio once before and it was fine. As good as the other cheap Caesars properties.

It's so nice to just be able to go up to your room on dinner break. I've heard of people getting robbed in the parking lot during WSOP. Idk how prevalent that really is but it's just better to stay there if you can
